🇬🇧 Uganda: hunger kills more than Coronavirus

Hello friends, greetings from Action of love family.

It has been a tough time for us, here in Uganda, as our vulnerable poor beneficiaries are dying of starvation.

Lockdown is still not over yet, after months of quarantine. Thankfully, we have a little number of infected people in Uganda, but there's something else that is killing people: hunger.

People can't go out, not even to get primary assets as food.

The most affected are child-headed families. They are total orphans and are left alone.

This kid in photo is Asaba Emmanuel (13 y.o.). Just some days ago, we rescued him, his sister (9 y.o.) and his brother (6 y.o.), who were dying of starvation and malaria. We picked them in a critical conditions and rushed them to the hospital where they are currently receiving treatment.

We had to hire a car that we haven't paid yet even in order to rescue their life! And we are still looking for money to pay their hospital bills...

We asked the hospital to be patient with us. Somebody lent us money while keeping our bycicle as guarantee we will return the money.

These kids are total orphans and they live alone in their home with no help. We have been struggling with these children for the past 2 years now.

We are trying our best to find them food but we have no funds. We call upon anyone who can help these starving children to come to their rescue.

Please take a look at our distance adoption programs or consider donation according to your possibility.

May God bless our beloved friends.
